Hi Vanama,

You have probably thought of this already, but one of my users asked if I could get a 'Challenge Poker' (I named mine challenge rps & challenge blackjack), and I said I would ask , little more complicated than BlackJack I guess, but would be well worth the time in terms of a desirable product for sure!

Poker is the game, which don't play solo and wait for other player. "Challenge poker" could be poor extension where I don't use name of this great game - Poker. Although could be easy to rework JG BlackJack to "challenge poker".

Hmmm, I am not so sure (that it would be a poor extension). I think the ability to directly challenge other users even in longer waiting games is a great thing for some. Scrabble takes quite a while, but was the most popular feature on facebook. Personally I think you are on to a winner with your framework and where you are going with all this for that reason, although quick snappy games are more simple and are also desirabe of course , I don't think longer played games are going to do any worse out there on the web. The reason the user on my site suggested poker was due to RPS being a little too simple and that therefore the novelty will wear off quickly. Something that is a little more tricky, and can genuinely involvea little element of skill (or so poker players say), would go down well with some I think.

Tic tac toe would be a bit slow for the game I guess (as it is quite high paced when you play it in real life), but that is no fun at all against a computer, so challenging friends is better

Actually, I was thinking, Chess, and Checkers could be done too (Chess a bit harder of course), but if the board is A1 - H8 or whatever, and the pieces all have a number value like the cards in blackjack, you could build a full Chess game for online interactive Joomla Chess (could probably sell it seperately as a component). The tricky bit is getting the correct moves programmed in so that If piece = 4, allowed = ,2.1,2.-1,1.2,-1.2,-2.1, etcetera, where the piece 4 was a knight and it can move in 2 forward and one to the side etc. Not sure but it seems do-able (in theory), and I think a suite of games like this (with casino blackjack and rps, would be an excellent cv for Joomla Gaming , I could make some images for chess pieces if you wanted .

Checkers would be easier, though getting 'kings' or whatever where if you reach the other side you can go both ways would be tricky (not sure how the logic would go there).

But there must be lots of card games you can do with this set up. Trouble is I am rubbish at cards and don't know any , but playing cards is a worldwide phenomena, maybe we can ask forum users to post popular games (with their rules) and see which have the easiest logic to manipulate?

All just chat and thoughts mind, do with as you will (or not of course ), I think I would like to see all of the above, but no idea what others think of this? Anyone?
